What words do we start with? Do we start with how long we have known you? How funny it is that we are from neighboring towns and both ended up in Atlanta? Maybe, how much we love seeing you and Jeff together? How excited we were that you and Jeff were moving to Atlanta to teach Lassiter? We could write and write about all of those stories…
The words that Dave and I want to say to you the most is Thank You. Thank you for your friendship. Your friendship has been one of the most treasured relationships we have. We can always count on you! For everything… taking care of Buffy, meeting us out for dinner or drinks, coming over to our house for numerous reasons, letting us live at your house whenever we needed…the list can go on and on.
Most of all, Thank you for the love you have shown our sweet girls Ava and Quinn. From the day Ava was born you have been more then just a friend. You have been an “Atlanta Aunt” for them both. You didn’t miss a birthday or holiday without thinking about the girls. You have been there for events like recitals and first communions always with a loving smile on your face. You have been there to listen to our endless stories about our girls and being as
excited as we were. Thank you for being the most wonderful, kind, generous and fun “Aunt” to our girls. Thank you for going out of your way to always help us and love all of us unconditionally.
Having you in our lives in such a deep and meaningful way has been a blessing to all of us. Your spirit will always stay alive at the McCarthy household.
